The 2026 Women’s Retreat theme is Rooted, with guest speaker Betsy Santos. Betsy became a disciple in the Washington, DC church in 1997 and entered the ministry in 1998 alongside her husband, Gabe. Together, they helped plant the church in Delaware. After several years, they moved to Virginia, where they served in multiple churches—at times in full-time ministry and at other times as tentmakers.

In 2022, they relocated to Boston to serve in the Spanish-speaking ministry region. In addition to her ministry work, she teaches yoga and Pilates at the YMCA and is passionate about helping churches build and sustain healthy, thriving disciples. She is also a registered nurse and a mother of four children, ages 23, 20, 19, and 16.
